Year 2
For children isolating at home, please refer to the weekly plans for the current half term. This is what children in school will be learning. Do as much as you are able/wish to do, considering your personal circumstances. We understand how challenging it can be for parents teaching children at home and we are here to support you.
If you would like some more ideas for keeping your child learning at home, have a look at the Home Learning page for useful links and resources.
The resources below are specific to the Year 2 curriculum and will support the learning ongoing in class.
Please also regularly use the Reading Eggs and Mathletics apps to build your child's Reading, Phonics and Maths skills. Ask your class teacher or email the office if you have misplaced your log in details. Reading should continue - e-books are available from Oxford Owl, Collins and Kingston library. For additional phonics videos view Mr Thorne Does Phonics on youtube.
For weekly maths videos that follow the White Rose plans taught in school, look here. Corresponding worksheets can be found below.
Is your child interested in History? Or perhaps Geography, or Science. BBC Bitesize offer a range of topics for children to research.
