COVID-19 Advice

Coronavirus Advice

  • Please continue to wear a mask when you are dropping off and picking up your child, and if you come into the school building for any reason.
  • In line with current guidance for schools, year group bubbles will no longer be in place, school assemblies will resume, and we no longer need to avoid mixing at lunch and break times.

The school has prepared a COVID-19: Outbreak management plan and a Risk Assessment document:

The latest Government advice regarding schools is below:

Please continue to support your child by talking positively about school, getting back into good sleep routines and please try to avoid worrying them too much about the situation.  Please do let us know if you or your child are anxious about attending school.

You are no doubt aware of the government guidance as to what to do if you or your children develop coronavirus symptoms:

Stay at home for 14 days and take a PCR test if you have:

  • a high temperature of 37.8
  • a new continuous cough
  • a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste

Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital.

Please continue to reinforce the need to regularly wash hands and to catch and bin any sneezes or coughs.
