We have had a wonderful day celebrating books today.  Your children have amazed us with their creativity and great knowledge of their favourite books. 

We are so pleased that World book Day is not just a dressing up day.  It is a chance to share, explore and celebrate great books.  Today we have had great book talk in our circle times, taken part in a whole school parade, watched a World Book Day live lesson with author Nathan Bryon and illustrator Dapo Adeola - as well writing and illustrating book reviews and listening to lots of great stories.  Also, every child has spent their £1 World Book Token in school and will be bringing home a new book today.
