What is a Prefect?
Prefects are chosen each half term to be positive role models in our school. They are given special responsibilities both inside and outside the classroom, helping to make our school a safe, friendly, and well-organised place. Prefects wear red tabards so everyone can easily recognise them. As part of their role, they complete important jobs around the school and meet with the headship team to share ideas and help improve school life for everyone.
What children think about being a Prefect
"I like being a prefect becasuse I get the take care of people and that is what a prefect's job is."
"I like being a prefect because when I look at my tabard I am reminded I'm really smart and important."
