Play Rangers

 What is a Play Ranger?
Play Rangers are specially chosen children in Year 2 who help look after our OPAL playtimes. They wear purple tabards so everyone can spot them easily. Their job is to encourage others to play, help keep the playground tidy, and take care of school property and play equipment. Play Rangers also let adults know when something goes wrong and meet regularly with the Assistant Headteacher to share ideas about making playtimes even better.

What children think about being a Play Ranger

"I like being a play ranger because I like to encourage other people to tidy up."

"I like being a play ranger because I like to help the other children."
