This term in Science our focus has been on growing our own seeds we brought in from our kitchens.  We waited in anticipation to see when and if they would germinate and over the weeks it was great to see mangoes, apples, avocados and many more young plants appear and grow.  Yesterday was the day to harvest our potatoes and carrots.  All of year 2 were excitedly involved in not only harvesting but also washing and eating our produce.  We turned cream into butter to add to the potatoes, turning them into a wonderful treat
